950 sterling silver, hand-forged in Barcelona. A chain made link by link, topped with a raw labradorite that catches the light and bursts into blue and golden flashes — its famous labradorescence, as if you were wearing a little piece of aurora around your neck.
This stone traveled with me from Jaipur, the Pink City of India, where generations of artisans still cut and polish gems with techniques that go back to the royal workshops of the 18th century, when Maharaja Jai Singh II turned the city into one of the great lapidary centers of the world. Every stone passes through their hands before reaching mine.
