Adjustable Black Opal Ring in Hammered Silver | One-of-a-Kind Piece

A silver ring with a hand-worked surface, hammered and engraved with hand tools, giving a relief of tiny dots and marks that catch the light. At the center, a black opal with a dark background and flashes of red, orange and violet that change with the angle.

I bought this opal at the Pushkar market, in India, from the trusted family of artisans I have been buying from for years. I choose each stone personally for its color and character.

The ring is handmade in my workshop in Barcelona. Every hammer mark and every engraved stroke is done by hand, so no piece is the same as another. It is a unique design, and being adjustable it fits different fingers.

Care and Conservation Guide

Opal is more delicate than other stones. Avoid knocks, heat, sudden temperature changes and chemicals, and do not leave it in water for long. Clean the ring with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use silver polishing cloths, as they would remove the aged effect. Store it in its cotton pouch.
